Description
Beware of scams pretending to be from the University or KIP Kuliah organizers. Make sure to verify information through official channels and do not transfer money for disbursement or program administration.
In relation to reports we have received regarding students who are recipients of the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah and have become victims of fraud by irresponsible individuals, we deem it important to give special attention to this matter. These fraudulent activities have been carried out in various forms, such as requests for money transfers, collection of personal data, or offers of assistance promising certain benefits. To prevent further incidents, we kindly request your assistance in conveying the following points to students in your Faculty, especially to KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients:
- Be cautious of any suspicious communication claiming to be from the University, the Government, or the KIP Kuliah organizers.
- Do not transfer money in any form for reasons related to disbursement or administrative processes of the KIP Kuliah program.
- Ensure the validity of information through the official University channels, namely the Faculty's Student Affairs Office and the Directorate of Student Achievements and Alumni Relations.
- If students encounter any attempts of fraud, they are urged to report them immediately to the Directorate of Student Achievements and Alumni Relations.
