The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), continues to strengthen institutional governance through the Coordination Meeting on the Implementation of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU Work Program. This activity serves as a strategic step to ensure that various planned work programs are implemented in a focused and effective manner and provide a tangible impact on the advancement of the faculty.

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), has once again achieved an academic accomplishment at the international level. Dr. apt. Marianne, S.Si., M.Si. has been awarded a COMSTECH Research Fellowship to conduct research at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, Pakistan.

The Pharmacist Professional Education Student Orientation serves as an initial opportunity for 114 new students to become familiar with the academic environment, learning culture, regulations, and various activities they will undertake throughout their professional education. Through this activity, students are expected to gain a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities as students and prospective professional pharmacy practitioners.

The implementation of the Midterm and Final Examinations is an important stage in pharmacist professional education. Through these assessments, students’ mastery of knowledge and understanding of the learning materials provided throughout their education are evaluated.

The Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), organized a workshop to strengthen pharmaceutical competencies under the theme High Alert Product Management and Handling Cytotoxic: How Pharmacists Should Respond to Cytostatic Drugs and Aseptic Handling in Hospitals.
