The Pharmacy Profession Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara has released the Odd Semester Academic Schedule for 2025/2026. The schedule includes case studies, professional pharmacy practice, and midterm and final exams.
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), through the Pharmacy Profession Program, officially announces the Academic Schedule for Odd Semester 2025/2026.
The main subject for this semester is FMI5001 Case Study (3 credits), held at the 2nd Floor Hall, Faculty of Pharmacy USU. The curriculum covers essential topics, including:
Pharmaceutical Practice: regulations, professional ethics, and pharmacist roles in various fields.
Pharmacist Professional Standards: Ministry of Health RI standards and national competency test blueprint.
Community, Hospital, and Primary Health Care Pharmacy: services, regulations, and clinical practice.
Industrial and Distribution Pharmacy: GMP application, QA/QC, GDP, and current updates in practice.
Pharmacist Career Opportunities: exploring professional career paths from upstream to downstream.
Additional sessions include a Workshop on Handling Cytotoxic and High Alert Product Management, along with scheduled Midterm Exam (August 25, 2025) and Final Exam (September 2, 2025).
This schedule is designed to ensure students are well-prepared to engage in academic activities, practical training, and examinations throughout the semester.
