On Friday, April 1, 2019, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara welcomed a visit from SMK Swasta As Syifa Kisaran. The visit aimed to discuss scholarships and university entrance examinations while providing a brief introduction to the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The event was attended by students and teachers from SMK Swasta As Syifa Kisaran, who were warmly received by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, Prof. Dr. Masfria, M.S., Apt.; Vice Dean III, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt.; and Head of the Research, Community Service, and Cooperation Subdivision, Amrizal AR, S.H.
In her welcoming remarks, Prof. Dr. Masfria, M.S., Apt., expressed gratitude for the visit and introduced the Faculty of Pharmacy's five study programs: Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, Diploma III in Pharmaceutical and Food Analysis, Pharmacist Professional Program, Master's Program in Pharmacy, and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Following the formal sessions, a gift exchange took place between the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Principal of SMK Swasta As Syifa Kisaran. The students were also given a tour of the laboratories within the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU.
