USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with alumni to draft the Strategic Plan (Renstra) for the Faculty and Study Programs for the 2025–2030 period. This online event was conducted via Zoom Meeting on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM WIB.
The alumni participants represented various pharmaceutical practice settings, including hospitals, pharmaceutical wholesalers (PBF), industries, pharmacies, and public health centers. A total of 29 alumni attended as representatives in the discussion. They were invited to provide feedback, suggestions, and recommendations regarding the current 2020–2024 Strategic Plan of the Faculty and Study Programs.
During the discussion, the alumni shared their work experiences, including challenges faced when entering the workforce, and offered recommendations to improve outcomes for the faculty and stakeholders. These inputs will serve as key considerations for the drafting team in refining the 2025–2030 Strategic Plan. Additionally, the alumni were asked to complete a questionnaire through a provided link.
