HUMAS PHARMACY USU — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, aims to increase the downstream value of products resulting from lecturers' and students' research and service. To achieve this goal, certification, registration, distribution permits, and production permits are assisted.
Faculty of Pharmacy lecturers were invited to participate in this mentoring activity. In addition, those of you who already have innovative products from Community Service activities are also encouraged to include MBKM students who are involved in their service. Of course, with the hope that the products produced can be downstreamed.
The resource persons presented were Herman Hidayat, S.E. (Investment and One-Stop Service Office); Tengku Awalludin, S.Farm, Apt. (Center for Food and Drug Control); and Ahmad Shalihin, S.T., M.T. (North Sumatra Institute for Food, Drug and Cosmetics MUI).
Those who participated in this assistance received a lot of material from the speakers, starting from business licensing guidelines to support business activities, as well as the mechanism in Medan city, business development and regulation of natural-based pharmaceutical products in Indonesia, and material related to BPOM registration.
