On Monday, September 10, 2018, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a patent draft preparation workshop for lecturers in the fields of health sciences, pharmacy, and nursing.
The event was attended by Drs. Mahyuddin K. M. Nasution, M.I.T., Ph.D. (Vice Rector III of USU), Dr. Tulus Ikhsan Nasution, S.Si., M.Sc. (Head of USU's Intellectual Property Rights Unit), Prof. Dr. Masfria, M.S., Apt. (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU), and the Vice Deans I, II, and III from the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU.
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Masfria, M.S., Apt., stated that this socialization event is highly beneficial for health science lecturers, especially those from the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, as their research findings can be directly implemented in society.
Through this event, health science lecturers at USU are expected to be able to draft patents for 2018 and subsequent years.
