HUMAS FARMASI USU – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conveys its highest congratulations and appreciation to Prof. Yuandani, S.Farm., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt., and her research team for an outstanding achievement that has once again elevated the institution’s reputation on the international stage.
This accomplishment was achieved through successfully securing a Collaborative Research Scheme under the International Research Network (IRN) with countries categorized as Low/Lower Middle Income. This scheme is a strategic program aimed at fostering cross-country research collaboration to strengthen global research networks, enhance scientific capacity, and produce impactful research outputs.
In carrying out this collaborative research, Prof. Yuandani is supported by a team of researchers from the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, namely:
- Dr. Hetty Lendora Maha, M.Si., Apt.
- Dr. Dewi Pertiwi, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt.
This international collaboration also involves a partner from abroad:
- Dr. Muhammad Akmal Shah (Hazara University Mansehra, Pakistan)
The involvement of international partners reflects the strong commitment of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU to building productive and sustainable global research networks. Through the IRN scheme, it is expected that there will be knowledge exchange, strengthened research methodologies, joint publications in reputable journals, and the development of innovations that contribute significantly to the advancement of pharmaceutical and health sciences.
This achievement demonstrates that the academic community of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU is capable of competing and contributing within the international research ecosystem. In addition to strengthening the institution’s reputation, this accomplishment also opens opportunities for further collaborations, academic mobility, and the enhancement of human resource capacity in research.
