USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FF–USU) represented by Dr. Aminah Dalimunthe, M.Sc., Apt., Chair of the Master's and Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences FF USU, Yuandani, M.Sc., Ph.D., Apt., Secretary of the Master's and Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences FF USU, Emil Salim , M.Sc., Ph.D., Apt. made a visit to the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), on Monday-Thursday (4-7/3).
This visit aims to discuss plans for opening a double degree program. Apart from that, FF-USU also visited the IIUM Faculty of Pharmacy laboratory facilities.
The Double Degree Program that was initiated received a positive response from the IIUM Faculty of Pharmacy, including the Dean of the IIUM Faculty of Pharmacy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juliana Bt. Md. Jaffri; Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Affairs, Research and Innovation Dr. Muhamad Rusdi Bin Ahmad Rusmili; Chair of the Cosmetic Science Master's Program and Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazrina Bint Ab. Hadi; Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Dr. Kamal Rullah; and Pharmaceutical Technology Department Staff Dr. Izzat Fahimuddin Bin Mohamed Suffian; Head of Research and Innovation Prof. Dr. Muhammad Taher Bakhtiar, Assoc. Head of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences Prof. Dr. Hamid Fauzi.
Next, the IIUM Faculty of Pharmacy will forward the application for this program to the University and the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. As well as together with FF-USU preparing several necessary things including MoA and proposals.
