Improving the education of teaching staff is important, so many lecturers continue their education to a higher level.

Currently, the Faculty of Pharmacy has several lecturers who are continuing their education, both at USU and outside USU. One of them is Rony Abdi Syahputra, S.Farm, M.Farm, a young lecturer at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, who today (8/8) underwent an Open Dissertation Defense at the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, USU Faculty of Pharmacy.

His dissertation is entitled “Inotropic, Chronotropic, and Cardioprotective Activities of African Leaves (Vernonia amygdalina Delile).”

Rony was recorded as the youngest lecturer to obtain a Doctoral degree at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy at the age of 26, with a study period of 2 years and 8 months.

His achievement is a motivation for other lecturers and students to continue to improve their knowledge.
