In an effort to improve students' ability to conduct research, the USU Faculty of Pharmacy held an “Ethic & Animal Handling Seminar and Workshop” which was held in the 2nd floor hall on April 6, 2019. This activity was attended by 125 students who included students from the pharmacy saraja study program.
Also present at this activity were Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D, Apt. as Vice Dean II of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, Yuandani, S.Farm., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt. as Secretary of the Department of Pharmacology Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Syafruddin Ilyas, M.Biomed and Embun Suci Nasution, S.Si.Apt., M.Farm.Klin as speakers at this activity.
In her remarks Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D, Apt. said that I am very proud that the Ethic & Animal Handling Seminar and Workshop activities were carried out, she hopes that students can participate in all activities that have been designed by the committee. Ethic & Animal Handling Seminar and Workshop activities can improve students' ability to conduct research, especially research using experimental animals.
After the speakers finished delivering the material, all participants were invited to the pharmacology laboratory to implement the training provided by the speakers. The event ended with the awarding of certificates to the trainees.
