PUBLIC RELATION OF PHARMACY USU The Faculty of Pharmacy at USU visited Pt. Kalbe on Tuesday (15/8). This visit was represented by the Deputy Dean II of Pharmacy USU, Hari Ronaldo Tanjung, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt.; the Deputy Dean III of Pharmacy USU, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt.; and the Secretary of the Pharmacist Professional Study Programme USU, Henny Sri Wahyuni, S. Farm, M.Si., Apt. At this meeting, the delegation of Pharmacy USU was welcomed by the Director of Abbot Indonesia, Mr. Doni Rahadian.
This visit aims to explore the collaboration between PT. Abbot and the Faculty of Pharmacy at USU to support each other and give suggestions in the pharmacy sector. At this meeting, there are several discussions that can be carried out for further collaboration, such as inviting the practitioners at PT Abbot to be the speakers in an invitation lecture, an examiner for the Professional Pharmacists Test, and the respondents to the International Survey from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). On the other hand, in the first period (2023 - 2024), the Faculty of Pharmacy sent nine pharmacist students to practise pharmacist professional work (PKPA) at Abbot. The students are expected to understand the workflow of stadarization pharmacist practise in pharmaceutical industries through discussion, practise, and a final test.
In the future, it is hoped that this collaboration will continue to be established in other sectors, so it can be used to increase the potential of both parties.
