Public Relations Faculty of Pharmacy - The Faculty of Pharmacy received a visit from Assyifa Vocational School Banda Aceh on Friday, November 24, 2023. There were 125 pharmacy vocational students, accompanied by 5 teachers and their principal, Ms. Cut Surianti, who is an alumna of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU class of 1970. During this visit, the students were very enthusiastic to see every room and laboratory in the Faculty of Pharmacy. Several of these students also actively asked questions in the discussion session held in the 2nd Hall Faculty of Pharmacy. This activity was welcomed by the Third Deputy Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy at USU, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt.
This visit provided insight into those Pharmacy Vocational School students about the laboratories in pharmacy and provided an overview of lectures. Apart from that, they were also given the opportunity to visit the Laboratorium of Pharmacology, the Pharmaceutical Technology Laboratory, and the Cosmetology Laboratory. Every student had a chance to see the practicum and learning processes directly in those laboratories. It is hoped that this visit can increase their knowledge regarding learning methods and practices, which can then be applied and utilised when they return to their school.
