The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara celebrated its 18th Anniversary with a Fun Walk, appreciation for outstanding education staff, as well as door prizes and entertainment. This event strengthened the relationship between lecturers, students, alumni, and staff of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy.

USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Universitas Sumatera Utara held a series of activities to celebrate the 18th Anniversary of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the 55th Anniversary of the Department of Pharmacy. The day before, the peak event was held in the form of an open session and public lecture. Today, Saturday (10/19), the activities continued with a fun walk. This morning's fun walk started at 06.30 WIB until noon.

The activity was opened with a Fun Walk first. The front row was led by the Dean and Vice Deans, followed by other participants consisting of lecturers in the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, alumni, staff, and students of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy..

After reaching the finish line at the Faculty of Pharmacy, all participants were invited to eat breakfast that had been provided. Furthermore, the activity continued with remarks from the Dean, alumni representatives, and cake cutting.

The USU Faculty of Pharmacy also gave appreciation to outstanding staff who were previously selected through voting by all lecturers and staff of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy based on certain criteria. The title of outstanding staff in 2024 was achieved by Imam Matra Aristian, Sunaryo, and Syamsirwan. All three of them received appreciation in the form of cash totaling IDR 6,000,000.

The excitement of the activity was felt on this peak day. The enthusiasm of the participants, consisting of lecturers, staff, alumni, and students, was felt. The excitement was further enlivened by the distribution of door prizes and entertainment. We all hope that moments like this can continue to be held every year so that it becomes a medium to strengthen the relationship between all components that are part of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Congratulations on the 18th Anniversary of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy and the 55th Anniversary of the Department of Pharmacy. May we continue to prosper!
