In celebration of the 11th anniversary of the Faculty of Pharmacy, which falls on August 12, 2017, the Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universitas Sumatera Utara held a guest lecture in the First Floor Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Such activities are highly beneficial for broadening students’ knowledge and understanding in research. The event was enthusiastically attended by postgraduate (Master’s and Doctoral) students and lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Donny Nauphar, B.Sc., M.Si, Med., who presented on the topic “Application of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Methods to Enhance Research Quality in the Field of Pharmacy.”

The guest lecture discussed research quality aimed at improving the research skills of postgraduate students and lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Similar activities will be held regularly by inviting expert speakers to deliver specific topics to the students and lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, as such initiatives significantly contribute to expanding knowledge and insights in the field of pharmacy.
