The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) inaugurated the Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory today, Wednesday (February 23, 2022).
The inauguration was conducted by Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., MA., the Vice Rector for Research, Community Service, and Collaboration, Prof. Dr. apt. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., the Vice Rector for Information, Planning, and Development, Prof. Dr. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc., the Vice Rector for Asset Management and Business, Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P., the University Secretary, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG(K), as well as the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, apt. Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D, in her speech, expressed her deep gratitude to the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara for realizing the Faculty of Pharmacy's dream of having a new Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory. The proposal for the establishment of this laboratory was submitted in 2014, and fortunately, it was approved in early 2021 and officially inaugurated today, February 23, 2022. It is hoped that this new laboratory will provide more space and comfort for students to conduct practical activities in the future.
The Rector of USU also urged the Faculty to maintain the new laboratory's infrastructure to support the smooth execution of practical classes.
