PUBLIC RELATION OF PHARMACY USU - Faculty of Pharmacy USU, together with the Faculty of Pharmacy UNHAS, carried out a signing of collaboration in the meeting room of the UNHAS faculty of pharmacy on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. This activity was conducted by the Dean Faculty of Pharmacy at USU, Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Apt., and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Marianti A. Manggau, Apt., as the dean faculty of pharmacy at UNHAS. Moreover, this collaboration was also attended by the Deputy Dean III of Pharmacy USU, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., and the Secretary of the Master and Degree Programme Faculty of Pharmacy, Emil Salim, S. Farm., M.Sc., Ph.D., Apt., and several staff from the Faculty of Pharmacy UNHAS.
This activity aims to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including education and teaching, research and development, and community services. In general, this agreement will focus on research and Innovation by involving undergraduate, master, and doctoral students from both parties to create research collaborations and innovations that benefit society and improve the quality of human resources.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at USU also argued that this collaboration is the continuation of various collaborations between institutions, such as teaching through guest lectures and team research collaborations.
Furthermore, this collaboration is expected to continue in other sectors, such as training programmes from experts and lectures, creating discussion forums between academics on both campuses, and other academic activities that can be used to maximise the potential of each campus.
