USU Faculty of Pharmacy lecturers held a Free Treatment Social Service at LPKA Class 1 Tanjung Gusta, Medan, in order to welcome the 79th Indonesian Independence Day. The activity on August 11, 2024 involved lecturers and students, with various medical services such as health counseling, general medicine, and skin specialists, as well as dental examinations. The event, which took place from 09.00-15.00 WIB, aimed to provide health benefits to the surrounding community.
USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - Faculty of Pharmacy lecturers held community service activities in the form of Free Medical Social Service in Commemoration of the 79th Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day at the Class 1 Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) Tanjung Gusta, Medan (11/8).
This service is carried out by apt. Nasri, S. Farm., M. Farm as Chief Executive, with members including apt. Nurul Suci, S.Farm., M.Farm and apt. Vera Estefania Kaban, S. Farm., M. Farm. This service team also involved five students from the USU Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, namely Helen, Stephanie, Gracelyn Tanaka, Nicolas Kusady, and Qhelen Mayline Chandra, as well as four students from the USU Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, namely Donita Chandra, S.Farm., Angela Bramlie, S.Farm., Santana Fourtune, S.Farm., and Rudi Dharmo, S.Farm.
The activity takes place from 09.00–15.00 WIB. It involves various medical treatments that involve not only pharmacy lecturers and students but also other professions. The medical treatment provided in this social service activity includes health education, general treatment, medication administration, specialist skin treatment, examinations, extractions, fillings, and tartar cleaning.
