USU PHARMACY PR - A series of activities to celebrate the USU Faculty of Pharmacy anniversary has been going on for some time. The peak event of the anniversary was held on Friday and Saturday (11–12/11).
The Open Session activities, taking place in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, began with registration at 08.00 WIB. The session began at 08.30 WIB, marked by the Senate procession entering the activity room.
The session was opened by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, apt. Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., and continued with remarks from the Chairman of the Alumni Association (IKA) of USU Faculty of Pharmacy, Drs. Agustama, M.Kes., and a faculty development report by the Dean of USU Faculty of Pharmacy.
This session was also attended by Vice Rector III of USU, Prof. Dr. apt. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, M.Si., represented the Rector in opening remarks.
The session continued with a public lecture by the Vice Chairman-III of PP IAI, apt. Surya Wahyudi, S.Si., M.M., with the theme of the public lecture: “Embracing the Future of Pharmacist Era: Become a Smart & Wise Entrepreneur”. It was conveyed that a pharmacist can also become an entrepreneur.
Before the closing session, the Chairman of the committee symbolically handed over the 53rd Anniversary of Pharmacy souvenirs to the Dean of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy. Furthermore, there were also awards given to three categories:
1. Award to devoted lecturers: Prof. Dr. apt. Urip Harahap
2. Award to Active and Creative Staff 2021/2022: Ghita Amalia, A.Md.
3. Award to alumni who play the most role in the healthcare sector: Dr. apt. Chazali Situmorang
