On Thursday, August 2, 2018, five international students participated in the Internship Students Exchange 2018 program at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Hospital, facilitated by the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU.
This program was the second implementation following the 2017 program, which was attended by 7 students from Malaysia and 2 students from France. This year, the program welcomed 2 students from Egypt, 1 student from the Netherlands, 1 student from Morocco, and 1 student from Malaysia.

Their visit was part of a student exchange initiative to foster good relations and educational collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and universities in Egypt, Morocco, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. The program aims to benefit Faculty of Pharmacy USU students by enhancing their knowledge and aligning with Indonesia's educational curriculum, particularly at the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU.

During their visit, the exchange students explored various laboratories at the Faculty of Pharmacy and toured USU's teaching hospital, where they will undergo a study period as part of the program.
