The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, initiated a collaboration with Kimia Farma Corporate University on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, conducted virtually via the Zoom platform. The discussion was attended by the Vice Rector III of Universitas Sumatera Utara, the entire Faculty Board, heads and secretaries of study programs, as well as heads and secretaries of departments within the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The initiation began with an opening by Kimia Farma Corporate University, followed by remarks from both parties before the presentation of the MoU concept by the Head of Academy Research and Business Development of Kimia Farma Corporate University. Greetings from Kimia Farma Corporate University were delivered by Mr. Beben Budiman as the Chief Learning Officer and Mrs. Linda Lestari as the Head of Corporate University. On behalf of Universitas Sumatera Utara, the remarks were delivered by the Vice Rector III, Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Z. Hasibuan, M.Si., Apt., and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Apt.

This collaboration aims to design an MoU concept encompassing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education and teaching, research and human resource development, as well as community service.
