The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara held the "Ethic & Animal Handling Seminar and Workshop" on April 6, 2019. This event aimed to enhance students' research skills, especially in studies involving experimental animals.

To enhance students' research skills, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara organized the "Ethic & Animal Handling Seminar and Workshop" on April 6, 2019, at the 2nd-floor hall. The event was attended by 125 students, including those from the undergraduate pharmacy program.

 

 

Present at the event were Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Apt., Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU; Yuandani, S.Farm., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt., Secretary of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy; and Prof. Dr. Syafruddin Ilyas, M.Biomed., along with Embun Suci Nasution, S.Si., Apt., M.Farm.Klin., as keynote speakers.

 

 

In her remarks, Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Apt., expressed her pride in the implementation of the Ethic & Animal Handling Seminar and Workshop. She encouraged students to actively participate in all activities planned by the committee. The event aimed to enhance students' research capabilities, particularly in studies involving experimental animals.

 

 

After the presentations, all participants were invited to the pharmacology laboratory to implement the training provided by the speakers. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to the training participants.
