USU's Pharmacy Public Relations - The Pharmacist Oath-taking for Batch XXXIII was held live on Saturday, (11/3) in the USU Faculty of Pharmacy Floor Hall 2, and can be watched via the USU Faculty of Pharmacy Youtube. The Pharmacist Oath-taking activity was attended by all students whose oath/pledge was to be taken, USU's Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Deputy Deans, Head of Study Programs and Study Program Secretaries, professors and lecturers within USU's Faculty of Pharmacy. Also present were the Chancellor of USU, Representative of the Advisory Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Representative of the Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Council, Representative of the Chairperson of the Indonesian Pharmacist Association Central Board, Representative of the Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office, Head of the Medan Food and Drug Supervisory Agency or a representative, Chairman of the Board of Directors Region of the North Sumatra Indonesian Pharmacist Association or representing, Director of RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan or representing, Representative Director of RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Medan, Business Manager of PT. Kimia Farma Pharmacy or their representatives, clergy, as well as the parents of the new pharmacist candidates whose oath/pledge will be taken.
The procession was officially opened by the Dean of USU's Faculty of Pharmacy, apt. Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D. The reading of the new pharmacist's oath/pledge is led by the Chairperson of the Pharmacy Council or a representative and attended by all new pharmacist candidates who are accompanied by clergy from every religion/belief.
Delivered by the Head of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, apt. Dadang Irfan Husori, S.Si., M.Sc. on the report:
- Number of First Taker Students who took part in UKAI for the February 2023 Period: 80 people
- Number of First Taker Graduates: 66 people
- Number of Oath Participants: 72 people
consisting of 41 Muslims, 21 Protestant Christians, 4 Catholic Christians, and 6 Buddhists.
- The highest academic achievement (GPA 3.98) was obtained by Febye Eliza Marnala Sialagan
- Obtained the highest competency test score of 91.50 on behalf of Selvi
After taking the pharmacist's oath/pledge, the opening remarks from the new pharmacist were represented by the apt. Md. Yogi Munthe, S. Farm.
In addition, there is also a welcoming speech from Ka. Pemprovsu Health Office, apt. Nelly Murni, S.Si,. M.K.M; PP IAI, Drs. apt. Agustama, M.Kes., and the Council of Indonesian Health Workers, Dra. Engko Socialine Mangdalene, apt., M. Biomed.
