He emphasized that this event was not merely ceremonial, but rather the contents of the oath/promise which would later be recited must be lived. The profession of pharmacist is a profession that is directly related to the human soul, so skill and caution are required in carrying out this profession. Pharmacist interactions with other health professions must emphasize the interests of patients (patient oriented). As a pharmacist, you must play an active role in providing information about medicines to the public, regarding their correct use. He also reminded that the characteristic of those holding a professional degree is lifelong learning, so it is hoped that new pharmacists can increase their knowledge according to technological developments. A pharmacist as a professional must not only be able to provide information about drugs to the public, but also must be able to provide scientific information to doctors and other health workers about the use of a drug.
