USU PHARMACY PR - The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara visited the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Indonesia on Thursday (8/9). The visit was welcomed by the Vice Deans I and II of UI Pharmacy, the coordinator of partnership, and the coordinator of UI Pharmacy education. The visit was represented by the Vice Dean III of USU Pharmacy, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., Head of the USU Pharmacy Master and Doctoral Study Program, Yuandani, S.Farm., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt., Secretary of the USU Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, Henny Sri Wahyuni, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt., and USU Pharmacy partnership staff as a form of partnership initiation to realize the extension of partnership between USU Pharmacy and UI in the field of education. This partnership includes the involvement of UI Pharmacy staff in USU Pharmacy activities as resource persons, research collaboration, and UI Pharmacy staff as co-promoters for USU Pharmacy Master and Doctoral Study Program students.
This visit is also a form of benchmarking study, with the aim of discussing the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education in the field of education, which includes the curriculum of the Master and Doctoral Study Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as solutions for resolving retakers in the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program.
