The USU Faculty of Pharmacy held its Q1 2025 RKA Monitoring and Evaluation on May 15, 2025. The event assessed budget implementation and its alignment with SDG goals.
USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – In an effort to strengthen budget performance accountability, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) session on the realization of its 2025 Q1 Work and Budget Plan (RKA) on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Faculty's Meeting Room.
This Monev served as an evaluative activity to assess the achievement of program realization and budget utilization during the first quarter, as well as to identify challenges faced by faculty units. The process is a strategic step to ensure that budget execution is effective, efficient, and aligned with initial planning.
The event was attended by faculty leadership, program coordinators, heads of administrative units, and the finance and planning team. Together, they reviewed financial performance reports and formulated follow-up action plans for future improvement.
The session, held on May 15, 2025, was part of the faculty’s annual evaluation mechanism.
RKA Monev plays a crucial role in supporting transparent and accountable university governance. Moreover, the activity contributes directly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, through strengthening institutional systems and budget transparency.
SDG 4: Quality Education, by ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of educational funding.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through interdepartmental coordination and collaboration at the faculty level.
The event was conducted interactively, beginning with a presentation of the budget realization report by the planning team, followed by a discussion session and formulation of improvement recommendations. Each unit is expected to follow up on the evaluation results with concrete steps to improve the effectiveness of their programs in the next quarter.
Through this Monev, the Faculty of Pharmacy USU reaffirms its commitment to building a transparent, accountable, and results-oriented work culture, as part of its active contribution to sustainable development.
