HUMAS FAKULTAS FARMASI USU – The successful selection of Dr. Rony Abdi Syahputra's research proposal reflects his dedication, hard work, and academic commitment to developing research that not only advances scientific knowledge but also addresses challenges in healthcare, the utilization of local resources, and sustainable development. The National Research and Innovation Program for Advanced Indonesia (RIIM) is one of the research funding schemes designed to encourage the development of innovations based on national needs and strengthen Indonesia's research ecosystem.

Through the research to be conducted, Dr. Rony Abdi Syahputra is expected to develop innovations rooted in local knowledge, with strong scientific value and contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences. The successful funding of this research proposal is also aligned with the Faculty of Pharmacy USU's commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Research focused on healthcare innovation and the utilization of local resources contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by supporting efforts to improve public health. The utilization of biological resources that contribute to food security is also aligned with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). Meanwhile, strengthening the research culture and academic capacity supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) through research-based education. The innovations generated through the research further contribute to SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by advancing science, technology, and innovation, as well as SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through the responsible and sustainable utilization of resources.
