USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - USU Faculty of Pharmacy lecturers and lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Andalas, conducted community service in the form of counseling on making diabetic foot lotion and marketing and business plans. The service was held at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Andalas, Padang, on Friday (12/07). The Head of Limau Manis Village, Padang, Muliardi, S.Sos, M.M, also gave a speech.

 

 

This service activity aims to increase community knowledge and skills and empower natural potential, such as gambier leaves, which are efficacious as diabetic foot lotion, and also as an effort to increase local community income.

 

 

Embun Suci Nasution, S.Si., M.Farm.Klin., Apt chaired the TALENTA USU national collaboration scheme community service in 2024. The material provider for the hands-on practice of making diabetic foot lotion is Uswatun Hasanah, S.Farm, M.Si., Apt., a lecturer at the Unand Department of Pharmacy. The community was also given education on the branding of the pharmacist profession, education related to diabetes mellitus and its prevention, as well as marketing and business plan material delivered by Adika Fajar Putra, S.E.I., M.M., lecturer at the USU Faculty of Economics and Business.

 

 

This service was also assisted by a student of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy Pharmacist Education Study Program, Murobbi, S. Farm, five students of the USU Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, Chicha Maylona Aganisa, Muhammad Khairul Fikri, Surya Perdana Gultom, Zarina Charunnisa, and Feby Aisha A. Harahap, and two students of the Unand Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, Amanda Zulfika Putri and Dhiandra Arya Wardhana.
