USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – A delegation from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) visited the University of North Sumatra on June 4 – June 6 2024. The main objective of this visit was cooperation in establishing a double degree program between the IIUM cosmetics master's study program and the Faculty's pharmaceutical sciences master's study program USU Pharmacy. Representatives from IIUM include:

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juliana Bint Md. Jaffri 

(Dean of Kulliyyah Pharmacy, IIUM)

- Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhamad Rusdi Bin Ahmad Rusmili

(Deputy Dean, Postgraduate & Research and Innovation, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy IIUM) 

- Asst. Prof. Dr. Izzat Fahimuddin Bin Mohamed Suffian 

(Program Coordinator, Master of Cosmetics, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology) 

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazrina Bint Ad Hadi 

(Head of Department, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology)

The activity on the first day, Tuesday (4/6), was a visit to the USU Faculty of Pharmacy. This activity is a form of continuation of the double degree program collaboration process to discuss the details of all the stages required in establishing this program. The discussion took place in the Meeting Room, Fl. 2 USU Faculty of Pharmacy, attended by the Dean, the Deputy Deans, Chair and Secretary of the Masters and Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as several lecturers within the USU Faculty of Pharmacy. The details discussed are related to the selection stages, tuition fees, learning methods, length of study period and the curriculum that prospective students of the double degree program will take in the future.
