The "Young Pharmacist" webinar hosted by the Department of Pharmacology and Master's and Doctoral Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universitas Sumatera Utara featured Pharmacist Urip Harahap presenting "Cytokine Storm, Transmission Dynamics, Approaches, and Pharmacotherapy Options for Sarcov-2 (COVID-19) Infection."

The Department of Pharmacology and the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universitas Sumatera Utara successfully held a webinar titled "Young Pharmacist" on Thursday, May 21, 2020. The event featured Pharmacist Urip Harahap as the keynote speaker, addressing contemporary and relevant topics in the field of pharmacy. This webinar served as an educational platform for students, academics, and pharmacy practitioners to deepen their understanding of current issues in the pharmaceutical domain.

 

In his presentation, Pharmacist Urip Harahap delivered material titled "Cytokine Storm, Transmission Dynamics, Approaches, and Pharmacotherapy Options for Sarcov-2 (COVID-19) Infection." The discussion explored the mechanisms of cytokine storms, which present a significant challenge in managing COVID-19 patients, the dynamics of virus transmission, and various pharmacotherapy approaches that can be applied.
