Universitas Sumatera Utara is accepting applications for tuition reduction from final semester students in undergraduate, applied bachelor, and diploma programs. Applications can be submitted via SILA from August 4 to 29, 2025.
In connection with the implementation of Permendikbudristek Number 02 of 2024 on SSBOPTN, where Article 13 regulates the provision of tuition reduction, which was subsequently stipulated in the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 1942/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2024 on the Provision of Single Tuition Fee (UKT) Reduction for Final Semester Students of Undergraduate, Applied Bachelor, and Diploma Three Programs who meet the requirements at Universitas Sumatera Utara, we hereby facilitate tuition reduction applications for students who meet the following criteria:
Undergraduate or applied bachelor’s students in semester 9 (nine) or above, taking a maximum of 6 credits, with one of the courses being a final project;
Diploma three students in semester 7 (seven) or above, taking a maximum of 6 credits, with one of the courses being a final project;
Study plan (KRS) has been verified by the academic advisor; and
Fill out the application through the USU Administrative Service System (SILA) via the Tuition Reduction Application menu at https://tiket.usu.ac.id, from August 4 to August 29, 2025.
Verification results will be issued along with the refund of the tuition fee to the bank account stated in the application. For students paying tuition fees in installments, the reduction will be applied to the second and/or third payment.
