The USU Faculty of Pharmacy announces the Mid-Semester Exam Schedule for Odd Semester 2025/2026, held on October 6–17, 2025, at the 3rd Floor CBT Room.
Respectfully, we hereby announce the schedule for the Mid-Semester Examination (UTS) Odd Semester Academic Year 2025/2026 of the Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, which will be held from October 6, 2025, to October 17, 2025.
In this regard, we also inform the following:
The UTS will be conducted offline.
The examination will take place at the Computer Based Test (CBT) Room, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Exam questions will be distributed to students through the kelas.usu.ac.id application.
Randomization of exam questions will be applied in kelas.usu.ac.id.
The exam will be Close Book.
To ensure smooth implementation, students, lecturers, and academic staff are expected to comply with the following regulations:
1. Students
a. Ensure they are registered in kelas.usu.ac.id.
b. Fill in attendance through kelas.usu.ac.id.
c. Be actively registered in the current semester (having paid tuition and completed the KRS).
d. Not allowed to bring electronic devices other than a calculator into the exam room.
e. Must note down their Google and kelas.usu.ac.id username and password and bring them to every exam session.
f. Prepare backup internet data to anticipate possible server disruptions at the faculty.
2. Lecturers
a. Course lecturers must be present in the exam room (CBT Room) according to the scheduled exam time of their courses.
b. Complete the prepared UTS Report Form.
c. Question providers must submit exam questions to the Course Coordinator, who will compile and upload them into kelas.usu.ac.id.
d. Multiple-choice questions may not exceed 45 items, and essay questions may not exceed 5 items.
e. Answers must not include images or written-out formulas, as students are not allowed to bring electronic devices other than calculators.
f. Exam questions must be uploaded to kelas.usu.ac.id no later than 3 (three) days before the scheduled exam.
g. As a backup for possible technical issues, lecturers are required to prepare alternative questions in Google Form (GF)/Google Classroom (GCR), to be submitted to the Academic Subdivision 1 (one) day before the exam.
h. Lecturers are advised to provide a password for the uploaded exam link in kelas.usu.ac.id.
3. Staff
a. Invigilators are Permanent Non-Civil Servant Staff of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy.
b. Invigilators must arrive at least 15 minutes before the exam begins according to the schedule.
c. Complete the UTS Report Form and distribute student attendance lists.
d. Ensure students receive scratch paper and collect it back at the end of the exam.
4. Sanctions
Students caught cheating during the exam will receive a warning, and their names and student ID numbers will be recorded in the UTS Report Form and submitted to the course lecturer.
