Universitas Sumatera Utara announces admissions for the Master’s (S-2) and Doctoral (S-3) programs for the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Below are the details about the schedule, requirements, and registration procedure.

Schedule:

  • Online registration: December 2, 2024 – January 6, 2025 via penerimaansps.usu.ac.id

  • Data confirmation and exam card printing deadline: January 6, 2025 (12:00 WIB)

  • TPDA exam registration at PLTI: January 3–6, 2025 via plti.co.id

  • Basic Academic Potential Test (TPDA): January 9–10, 2025, conducted online by PLTI

  • Field of Study Interview and Exam: January 15, 2025

  • Results announcement: January 23, 2025
    Further details on re-registration, document verification, tuition payment, and class schedules will be announced later.

General Requirements:

Master’s Program (S-2):

  1. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate

  2. Academic Transcript (Bachelor’s Degree)

  3. 3x4 Passport Photo

  4. Recommendation Letters from two lecturers or supervisors (for employed candidates)

  5. National ID (KTP)

  6. Participate in the Basic Academic Potential Test at PLTI

  7. Attend an interview in the selected study program

Doctoral Program (S-3):

  1. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree Certificate

  2. Academic Transcript (Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree)

  3. 3x4 Passport Photo

  4. Recommendation Letters from two lecturers or supervisors (for employed candidates)

  5. National ID (KTP)

  6. Dissertation Proposal

Registration Procedure:

  1. Pay the registration fee:

    • Master’s Program: Rp750,000

    • Doctoral Program: Rp1,250,000

  2. Register online via penerimaansps.usu.ac.id.

  3. Fill in personal data, study program choices, and upload the required documents.
