The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara attended an International Seminar with the theme "Best Practices in Advancing Pharmacy Education in the Next Decades" which was held on March 6–8, 2024 in Bangkok.

 

 

USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara attended an International Seminar titled "Best Practices in Advancing Pharmacy Education in the Next Decades," held on March 6–8, 2024, in Bangkok.

 

This AASP International Seminar was attended by the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Rangsit University and The Pharmacy Education Consortium of Thailand (PECT). AASP also facilitated the Deans/Heads of Study Programs who are members of the Indonesian Pharmaceutical Higher Education Association (AIPHE) to invite and collaborate with the Faculties of Pharmacy at Mahidol University, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chulalongkorn University, and Rangsit University College of Pharmacy in Bangkok on March 4–5 and March 8, 2024.

 

 

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Universitas Sumatera Utara was one of the universities that attended the AASP International Seminar & MoU Making and visited three leading universities in Thailand. Apart from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, several universities in Asia have the opportunity to take part in this AASP International Seminar & sign an MoU.

 

 

This AASP International Seminar aims to explore the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Pharmacy education. So, this seminar was held to encourage and discuss how we, as educators and professionals, can utilize the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a complement and enhancement of our role in the Pharmaceutical sector and also so that it remains a tool to empower, not a substitute for.

 

 

The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara received a Certificate of Appreciation presented to Marianne S.Sc., M.Sc., Apt., as the winner of Excellent Poster Presentation, Pharmacy Education Forum - The 7th Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP): Best Practices in Advanced Pharmacy Education in the Next Decade. March 6–8, 2024, at Rangsit University and Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit.
