The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, received several strategic awards at USU Award 2025 for achievements in quality assurance, PDDikti reporting, and institutional partnership management.

USU PHARMACY PR — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, once again recorded a proud achievement at the USU Award 2025, an annual appreciation event organized by Universitas Sumatera Utara to recognize outstanding performance of faculties and work units across the university. At this prestigious event, the Faculty of Pharmacy USU successfully earned several strategic awards reflecting its success in strengthening quality assurance systems, ensuring the accuracy of higher education data reporting, and managing and reporting institutional partnership.

 

 

During the implementation of the USU Award 2025, the Quality Assurance Unit of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy was named the Best Quality Assurance Unit, an achievement that demonstrates the faculty’s consistency in ensuring the quality of higher education delivery through the systematic and sustainable implementation of internal quality standards. In addition, the USU Faculty of Pharmacy secured Third Place in the Category of Best Accuracy in Higher Education Database (PDDikti) Reporting at the Universitas Sumatera Utara level in 2025, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to data accuracy, timeliness, and academic data integrity as a fundamental basis for higher education planning and policy making. Furthermore, the USU Faculty of Pharmacy also received Second Best Award for Study Programs with the Best Institutional Partnership Reporting, recognizing the faculty’s and study programs’ capability in managing, documenting, and reporting partnership activities in an orderly, transparent, and accountable manner.

 

 

These awards were officially announced and presented during the USU Award 2025 ceremony, which was attended by university leaders, faculty leaders, and representatives of work units within Universitas Sumatera Utara. The event served as both a performance evaluation platform and a source of motivation for all faculties to continuously improve institutional governance quality in accordance with national higher education standards and global demands.

 

 

The achievements of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy at this event are inseparable from a well-planned, measurable, and continuous work process. The Quality Assurance Unit of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy actively carries out quality planning, monitoring and evaluation, and study program assistance in meeting academic and non-academic standards. These efforts include strengthening quality documentation, evaluating lecturer and student performance, updating academic data, and enforcing discipline in PDDikti reporting and institutional partnership in accordance with prevailing regulations.

 

 

Success in the accuracy of PDDikti reporting reflects the seriousness of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy in maintaining the validity and reliability of academic data, ranging from student and lecturer data to curricula, learning outcomes, and the performance of the tridharma of higher education. Meanwhile, the achievement as a Study Program with the Best Partnership Reporting indicates that the USU Faculty of Pharmacy is not only active in establishing partnerships with various parties but also ensures that all forms of partnership are systematically documented and reported to support the continuous improvement of education, research, and community service quality.

 

These accomplishments provide concrete evidence that strengthening institutional governance, fostering a quality culture, and ensuring reporting accountability are fundamental pillars in realizing an excellent and competitive faculty. The USU Faculty of Pharmacy remains committed to embedding quality assurance systems and good governance as integral components in supporting Universitas Sumatera Utara’s vision toward becoming a world-class university.
