PUBLIC RELATION OF PHARMACY USU The Faculty of Pharmacy at USU visited Pt. Kalbe on Tuesday (15/8). This visit was represented by the Deputy Dean II of Pharmacy USU, Hari Ronaldo Tanjung, S.Si., M.Sc., Apt.; the Deputy Dean III of Pharmacy USU, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt.; and the Secretary of the Pharmacist Professional Study Programme USU, Henny Sri Wahyuni, S. Farm, M.Si., Apt. At this meeting, the delegation of Pharmacy USU was welcomed by the HRD Manager of PT. Kalbe, Mr. Leonardo Simanjuntak.
This meeting aims to explore the collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy at USU and PT Kalbe that was established previously to strengthen collaboration between both parties in the field of learning and education. At this meeting, there are several discussions that can be carried out for further collaboration, such as inviting the practitioners at PT Abbot to be the speakers in an invitation lecture, an examiner for the Professional Pharmacists Test, and the respondents to the International Survey from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).The representative faculty of pharmacy also brought two pharmacy students to practise in that industry. During the practise, pharmacist students at PT. Kalbe are expected to learn and understand the practise of pharmacy in the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, this experience can be utilised in the future. Both parties hoped that this collaboration could continue in other fields; therefore, the potential of each institution can be utilised.
