USU PHARMACY PR – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, once again demonstrates its reputation as an institution consistently producing outstanding students. This is proven through the achievement of Faisal David Pasaribu, an undergraduate Pharmacy student, who won Second Place in the Pharmacy Management Collaboration category at the prestigious 2025 Indonesia Pharmacy Olympiad (OFI).

This competition was held nationally and participated in by dozens of pharmacy universities from across Indonesia. The Pharmacy Management Collaboration category required participants to demonstrate critical thinking skills, the ability to solve complex problems in pharmaceutical services, medication management, and professional communication within multidisciplinary teams.

During the competition stages, Faisal stood out through his comprehensive case analysis, deep understanding of pharmaceutical service standards, and his strategies to ensure patient safety. The judges appreciated his ability to formulate solutions that were not only scientific but also implementable and aligned with the needs of current health service systems.

Faisal also expressed his gratitude to his academic supervisors, fellow students, and the faculty for continuously encouraging students to actively participate in scientific competitions. He hopes that his achievement can inspire other students to also carve out accomplishments.
