USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a guest lecture with cosmeceutical experts on Saturday (27/4). This guest lecture is part of a form of collaboration between the USU Faculty of Pharmacy and PT. Gondowangi Traditional Cosmetics, Jakarta.
The guest lecture took place in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, from 08.30–12.30 WIB. Experts who attended as speakers included:
Hidayat, S.Si., Apt. (Director of PT. Gondowangi Traditional Cosmetics) - New product development from customer perspective
Yuhendi, S. Farm., Apt. (Manager PT. Gondowangi Traditional Cosmetics) - The successful role and character of pharmacists in the cosmetics industry
This guest lecture was opened by Vice Rector III, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Sc., M.Sc., Apt. and attended by lecturers from the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, mandatory for students taking the FMI3208 course, and open to academicians, as well as students from the USU Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, USU Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, USU Master and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science.
Participants in this guest lecture also consisted of invited guests, namely several students from other educational institutions in Medan, who had study programs related to the theme of this guest lecture.
Student enthusiasm was quite high, seen from the large number of participants and the smooth running of this guest lecture activity. We hope that the collaboration between the USU Faculty of Pharmacy and PT. Gondowangi Traditional Cosmetics continues to be established so that it can create constructive programs and activities for students at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy.
