The 52nd Anniversary of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, kicked off with a Virtual Seminar with PT Paragon Technology and Innovation titled “Reaching Million Opportunities in Cosmetic Industry for Pharmacists.” The event featured inspiring speakers and was attended by 700 participants.

The 52nd Anniversary of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, coincided with a Virtual Seminar hosted by PT Paragon Technology and Innovation themed “Reaching Million Opportunities in Cosmetic Industry for Pharmacists.”

This Virtual Seminar served as a public lecture for pharmacy students and marked the opening of the academic year for new students in the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Diploma III Pharmacy and Food Analysis programs. The event took place on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

 

 

Moderated by Faculty of Pharmacy lecturers, Prof. Dr. Dra. apt. Julia Reveny, M.Si., and apt. Muhammad Fauzan Lubis, S.Farm., M.Farm., the seminar began at 08.00 WIB via Zoom and was also live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

 

 

The event opened with welcoming speeches from Dr. apt. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, M.Si., Vice Rector III of Universitas Sumatera Utara, and apt. Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

 

The seminar was attended by approximately 700 participants, including students from the Diploma III, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Professional Pharmacist, Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Doctoral in Pharmaceutical Sciences programs, as well as alumni and lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

 

 

The keynote speakers were Dr. (HC). Dra. apt. Nurhayati Subakat, Founder and CEO of PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, and Digital Marketing Enthusiast, apt. Hendra Agustian, S.Farm.

 

 

After the keynote presentations, the event concluded with the launch of the 52nd Anniversary activities of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
