USU FACULTY OF PHARMACY PR — In an effort to strengthen institutional governance and improve the quality of academic services, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has announced the appointment of three new Subdivision Heads. They are Lindawati Harahap, S.Sos as Head of the Academic Subdivision, Endang Lestari, S.E., M.Si as Head of the Student Affairs Subdivision, and Imam Matra Aristian, S.Kom as Head of the Research, Community Service, and Collaboration Subdivision (P2KM).
The appointment of these new officials marks an important step for the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, in bringing new energy and enthusiasm to drive transformation toward excellence. With the experience and competencies of each appointed official, every division is expected to further optimize its role in supporting academic performance, student affairs, as well as research and community service activities.
This strategic move aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through strengthened management and improved service effectiveness, the faculty contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by creating an efficient and responsive academic support system tailored to student needs. Meanwhile, a transparent and adaptive organizational structure supports SDG 16 (Strong Institutions), reinforcing the faculty’s dedication to good governance within higher education.
Furthermore, through the Research, Community Service, and Collaboration (P2KM) division, the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, aims to expand cross-sector collaboration with educational institutions, industries, and communities. This initiative reflects the spirit of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) — building sustainable partnerships to advance scientific development and promote community welfare.
