USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - Lectures have reached the end of the semester, so students must take the Final Semester Examination in both theory and practice. The final practical exam that students will take is in the form of an OSCE exam, where the OSCE exam system follows the OSCE from PSPA, so that students get an idea of future exams for those who will continue to professional levels later.
The OSCE exam is scheduled by the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program, namely on June 13-14 2024 simultaneously.
Considering that the number of practicums undertaken by students each semester is more than 1, OSCE implementation in several laboratories is carried out jointly.
6th semester students underwent a combined OSCE exam from 3 practicums on Thursday, 13 June 2024 in Building A. 4th semester students underwent a combined OSCE exam from 3 practicums on Friday, 14 June 2024 in Building A. 2nd semester students underwent a single OSCE for 1 practicum on Thursday 13 June 2024 in Building C, while the other 3 practicums will be held jointly on Friday 14 June 2024 in Building D.
The final laboratory semester exam using the OSCE system is carried out as preparation for students to face exams at the professional level. As students get used to practicing, they will become more accustomed to using/applying laboratory equipment.
