On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held its Pre-Meeting on Planning and Development (Pre-Musrenbang) for 2022 at Swiss Belinn Hotel. This event aimed to coordinate, integrate, and synchronize work plans and budgets within the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The event was attended by the deans, heads and secretaries of study programs, heads of administrative divisions, sub-division heads, expert staff to the dean, and several staff members. The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, apt. Khairunnisa, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D.
In her opening remarks, the Dean emphasized that when preparing activity proposals for 2022, each study program must include a TOR (Terms of Reference) and a RAB (Budget Plan) for every proposed activity. The proposals should align with the targets of achieving the university’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU), strategic plans (Renstra) of USU/Faculty, the Rector's work program, and performance contracts.
An explanation of the routine budget plan for 2022 was also part of the Pre-Musrenbang activities.

Each head of the study program sequentially presented their development activity proposals, starting from the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program, Diploma Program, Professional Pharmacist Program, and Master's and Doctoral Pharmacy Science Programs. In addition to the heads of study programs, the vice deans also presented development activity proposals in their respective fields: Vice Dean I in Academic and Student Affairs, Vice Dean II in General Affairs, Human Resources, and Equipment, and Vice Dean III in Community Service, Research, and Collaboration.
The entire Pre-Musrenbang event went smoothly. It is hoped that all proposed development activities will be successfully implemented to achieve the shared objectives and realize the priority programs of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
