USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara held a public lecture on Monday (5/8) at the 2nd Floor Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara at 10:00 am - finish. Previously, in the morning, the faculty leaders held a welcoming meeting to welcome the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hina Siddiqui from ICBBS, Karachi University Pakistan, will be one of the speakers who will give the public lecture on the next agenda. This public lecture is mandatory for students of the USU Masters Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Participation in this public lecture is done through online registration, which starts 2 days before the implementation of the activity. In addition to master/doctoral students required to attend this public lecture, undergraduate students and lecturers of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy also participate.
This public lecture was guided by Dr. Denny Satria, M.Si., Apt. as moderator, as well as presenting 2 adjunct professors, including:
1. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Male (INBIOSIS SME, Malaysia)
“Natural Products Research: Search for New Single Entity Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Development of Multicomponent Botanical Products”
2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hina Siddiqui (ICBBS, Karachi University Pakistan)
“Probing Small Molecular Chemical Space for Drug Discovery-Examples of Our Work in the Syntheses of New Chemical Entities, and Dietary Formulation Development and their Biological Studies”
The activities of these adjunct professors will take place over several days at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, of course, with a series of different activity agendas.
