The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universitas Sumatera Utara as the host successfully held a Seminar on “Kurikulum Perguruang Tinggi Farmasi” and Workshop on “Penulisan Soal Uji Kompetensi Apoteker Indonesia Metode CBT dan OSCE” which took place in collaboration with the APTFI Sumatra Region and the USU Faculty of Pharmacy. The event took place on Wednesday, October 22, 2018 at the Polonia Hotel Medan.
Present to open the event, the Chairman of APTFI Center Prof. Dr. Daryono H. Tjahjono, M.Sc., Apt who in his remarks conveyed this activity aims to unite the same perception in the preparation of pharmaceutical curriculum development, where in the future the pharmacy study program has the same thoughts in providing learning methods that have been agreed upon. In the future, students will get a reference book or lecture module in conducting discussions related to the subjects discussed.

At the end of his remarks, the Head of APTFI Center expressed his gratitude to the representatives of APTFI in the Sumatra region for their efforts to maintain good communication between universities.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Universitas Sumatera Utara Prof. Dr. Masfria, M.S., Apt. said that pharmacy universities can play a role in creating competent universities through extra-curricula to answer the needs and developments of science and technology in the pharmaceutical world. Therefore, APTFI western region needs to hold a meeting in terms of expressing the perceptions of pharmacy colleges in the Sumatra region related to the preparation of curriculum development.
