The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara received a visit from the Quality Assurance Agency (BPM) USU for a socialization session on the latest regulations regarding program quality monitoring and evaluation. This event aims to ensure accreditation renewal through automation mechanisms and the internal quality assurance system.
USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a visit from the Quality Assurance Agency (BPM) USU on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 09.00 AM WIB.
This visit aimed to socialize the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Regulation No. 18 of 2024 concerning the Instrument for Monitoring and Evaluating Study Program Quality. The regulation outlines the extension of accreditation status through an automation mechanism and coordination of activities within the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) for Cycle 18 of 2025.
The session was led by the Head of BPM USU, Dr. dr. Isti Ilmiati Fujiati, M.Sc. CM-FM, M.Pd, Ked, Sp.KKLP, Subsp.COPC., with speakers Wida Akasah, S.Agr., M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Drs. Jonner Hasugian, M.Si. The event was attended by the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, as well as the Internal Quality Assurance Unit (GJM) and Quality Control Unit (GKM).
The discussion emphasized the importance of meeting the standards and indicators of the National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti) and Dikti Standards to ensure that the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) report serves as a reference in formulating the Work and Budget Plan (RKA) at both the faculty and study program levels. By understanding the required indicators and achievements within the PEMUTU system, study programs are expected to extend accreditation automatically and continuously enhance education quality.
