USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - The USU Faculty of Pharmacy received a visit from the USU Board of Trustees (MWA) on Wednesday (24/4/24) as a form of implementation of the aim of implementing good University Governance.
This visit was carried out in order to discuss the Faculty's performance report regarding planning, implementation, performance achievements and problems/obstacles faced in 2023. Located in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara at 09.00 WIB, the MWA who attended consisted of 13 people, including: MWA Secretary, Prof. Dr. Guslihan Dasa Tjipta, Sp. A(K); Chairman of Commission I, Prof. Dr. Hasim Purba, SH., M.Hum.; Chairman of Commission II, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Irvan, M.Sc.; Chairman of Commission III, Prof. Dr. Ir. Darma Bakti, MS.; Member of Commission III, Dr. Dr. Mutiara Indah Sari, M.Kes.; Chair of the Audit Committee, Drs. Ardian, MM., CFE., QIA., CA., Ak.; Member of the Audit Committee, Ir. Syahrizal, MT. and Dr. M. Irsan Nasution, SE., Ak., CA., Mak, CartlPSAS.; as well as MWA expert staff, Dr. Syarifa Lisa Andriati, SH., M.Hum., Laila Surya Nasution, SH., MH., Aisyah Syamsinar Harahap, S.Kom., Ade Marlina, S.Pd., and Ngadiyono.
The USU MWA's performance visit to the USU Faculty of Pharmacy was warmly welcomed by the Faculty leaders. The full range of Deans of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy were present, starting from the Dean, Deputy Deans I, II, and III along with their expert staff. Also present were the leaders of the Study Program, namely the Chair of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, the Chair and secretary of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, the Chair and secretary of the Master's and Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The presentation regarding planning, implementation, performance achievements and problems/constraints of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy in 2023 was delivered directly by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, Khairunnisa, S.Sc., M.Pharm., Ph.D., Apt. There are 4 areas of exposure which were explained in detail by the Dean, starting from the planned program, the achievements that have been obtained to the obstacles that arise when the program is implemented.
There were quite a lot of responses given by the Chairmen of the MWA Commission and members, as well as the Chair of the Audit Committee and members. MWA appreciates the achievements of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy Performance Program in 2023, but still requires improvement in handling and resolving problems that arise. As stated by Prof. Dr. Hasim Purba, SH., M.Hum., that to overcome the obstacles that arise, a Follow-up Action Plan (RTL) must be carried out so that we can find better solutions in the future and not experience these obstacles again.
The mutual interaction went smoothly, then continued with group photos and a laboratory visit. The MWA, accompanied by Faculty leaders, visited several laboratories in Building A of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, as well as the Laboratory in Building C of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy, which is a laboratory building that is under serious discussion by the Faculty and MWA.
