HUMAS FARMASI USU – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held the Performance Accountability Report (LAKIN) Meeting as a strategic forum to evaluate the 2025 performance achievements while outlining future policy directions and institutional planning. The meeting took place on Monday, January 5, 2026, in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU.

The LAKIN meeting served as an important moment to ensure that all work programs planned and implemented throughout the year were evaluated comprehensively, measurably, and accountably. The evaluation covered various aspects, including academics, research, community service, partnerships, as well as governance and human resource development.

In addition to reviewing the 2025 performance achievements, the meeting also focused on discussing the Faculty and Study Program Strategic Plan (Renstra) for 2025–2026. The Renstra is a key document outlining policy directions, strategic targets, performance indicators, and priority programs that will guide the medium-term development of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU. Furthermore, the forum addressed the preparation of the 2026 Operational Plan (Renop) as a derivative of the Renstra. The Renop functions as a more technical and operational annual planning document, including the determination of performance targets, work programs, and implementation strategies at both faculty and study program levels. A systematic Renop is expected to enhance the effectiveness of program implementation and improve the quality of academic and managerial governance.

The implementation of this meeting reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy USU’s commitment to applying the principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability in institutional management. Through structured evaluation and planning, the faculty strives to ensure that every policy and program aligns with the university’s vision and mission while addressing the increasingly dynamic challenges of higher education.

This activity is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

  • SDG 4 (Quality Education): Strengthening the quality of education through strategic planning and continuous performance evaluation.
  • SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions): Implementing transparent, accountable, and effective institutional governance.
  • SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Synchronizing faculty and study program initiatives to support shared objectives.

Through the implementation of the LAKIN meeting and the discussion of the Renstra and Renop, the Faculty of Pharmacy USU reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving performance quality, strengthening management systems, and delivering excellent and competitive educational services.
