USU PHARMACY PUBLIC RELATIONS - The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, welcomed a visit from Prof. Bonglee Kim, M.D. (KMD), Ph.D., on Friday (14/02) at 09:00 AM WIB in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Pharmacy building.
The event was opened by the Vice Dean III, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., and attended by several senior professors and young lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy USU. Prof. Bonglee Kim, M.D. (KMD), Ph.D., is a professor at the College of Korean Medicine, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea. He currently serves as the Chief of the Department of Pathology, Chair of the Department of Cancer Preventive Material Development, Group Leader of the Korean Medicine-Based Drug Repositioning Cancer Research Center, and CEO of Dr. B Lab, Inc.
This visit marked Prof. Kim's second visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy USU. During his first visit, he was a keynote speaker at the Top Scientist seminar and participated in discussions on future collaboration, original research, review articles, and Ph.D. opportunities in Seoul. Additionally, his previous visit included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Pharmacy USU and Dr. B Lab, Inc.
During his second visit, Prof. Kim aimed to further strengthen research and publication collaborations with the lecturers at the Faculty of Pharmacy USU. One of the previous successful collaborations was a research and publication project between Prof. Kim and Dr. Rony Abdi Syahputra, M.Farm., which was conducted last year.
