Description
The Faculty of Pharmacy at USU will conduct the Odd Semester Midterm Exams for the 2022/2023 academic year online via the CBT room and E-Learning platform. The questions are randomized and the exams follow a close book system, with specific rules for students, lecturers, and staff.
In connection with the Midterm Exams (UTS) for the Odd Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year, we hereby inform that:
The exams will be conducted online.
The exams will be held centrally in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Room, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Exam questions will be distributed to students through the E-Learning application.
The system will randomize the exam questions.
The exams will follow a close book format.
Regarding this, the following exam rules apply:
1. Students:
a. Students must ensure they are registered on the E-Learning platform.
b. Students must fill out attendance via E-Learning.
c. Students must be actively enrolled in the current semester (have paid tuition and completed course registration).
d. Students must have a minimum of 80% attendance in class.
e. Students are not allowed to bring any electronic devices other than a calculator into the exam room.
f. Students must prepare a backup internet data package in case of server issues at the faculty.
2. Lecturers:
a. Course lecturers must be present in the CBT Room as scheduled.
b. Complete the Midterm Exam Report form provided.
c. Question authors must submit questions to the Course Coordinator, who will compile and upload the final version to E-Learning.
d. Maximum number of multiple-choice questions: 45; essay questions: 5.
e. Answers must not contain images or stacked formulas, as students are only allowed to use calculators.
f. Exam questions must be uploaded to E-Learning no later than three (3) days before the exam date.
3. Academic Staff:
a. Proctors will be permanent non-civil servant academic staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU.
b. Proctors must arrive at least 15 minutes before the exam begins.
c. Proctors will fill in the exam report and distribute student attendance sheets.
d. Proctors must ensure students receive and return scratch paper at the end of the exam.
