Medan, September 8, 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), continues to strengthen institutional governance through the Coordination Meeting on the Implementation of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU Work Program. This activity serves as a strategic step to ensure that various planned work programs are implemented in a focused and effective manner and provide a tangible impact on the advancement of the faculty.
The coordination meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, along with the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, as well as the Head of the Administrative Office and Managers within the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU. The participation of various faculty leaders and administrators was an important part of building synergy and aligning the implementation of work programs in each unit.
Through this meeting, the implementation of ongoing and completed work programs was discussed and evaluated. The joint coordination also served as a forum to identify various challenges, evaluate achievements, and formulate follow-up measures to ensure that future program implementation can run more optimally.
The Dean and the leadership of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, emphasized the importance of coordination and communication among administrators in ensuring that each program is implemented according to the established plans and targets. Synergy among study programs and various administrative units within the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, is expected to create work program implementation that is more effective, measurable, and sustainable.
This coordination meeting also reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, to implementing collaborative, accountable, and quality-oriented governance. Through regular evaluations, each work program is expected to contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU.
The implementation of the coordination meeting on work program realization also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through strengthening higher education governance to support improvements in the quality of education and human resource development.
This activity is also in line with SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, particularly through the implementation of effective, transparent, and accountable governance, as well as decision-making through joint coordination and evaluation.
In addition, the involvement of various leaders, study programs, administrative offices, and management within the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU, reflects the spirit of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. This internal collaboration serves as an important foundation for realizing integrated work programs and generating sustainable impacts for the advancement of the Faculty of Pharmacy, USU.
